BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - The chef at Restaurant I-P-O downtown is packing a very big meal to go.
Chef Scott Varnedoe will be cooking dinner at the James Beard House in New York City for the fourth time. His menu will feature Louisiana seafood in a fabulous spread. Varnedoe will do a cooking demonstration on March 28, all the while bragging on the excellence of Louisiana seafood. The audience can then ask him questions. IPO's kitchen cooked the meals Wednesday evening that he'll present in New York.
Beard was a renowned chef and food writer.
