BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - An arrest warrant has been issued for a 17-year-old thought to be the shooter that killed 24-year-old Emanuelle Myles Tuesday evening.

The shooting happened just after 6 p.m. in the 12000 block of La Margie Avenue. Police say Myles was shot in the head and 19-year-old man was shot in the leg.

Police say there was a fist fight in the parking lot involving four people, including the 19-year-old victim. Police say 17-year-old Brandon Boyd was not involved in the fist fight, but he shot multiple times into the crowd hitting Myles, a bystander who was also not involved in the fight.

Both victims were taken to the hospital for their injuries. Myles died Wednesday morning from his injuries.

Anyone with information on Boyd's whereabouts is urged to call the Violent Crimes Unit at 225-389-4869 or call Crime Stoppers at 225-344-7867 (STOP).
