Labor Day weekend has a special significance for alligator hunters in Mississippi. A few days into the start of this year's hunting season, a record-setting 756-pound gator was caught by Robert Mahaffey of Brandon in the first weekend of the season.More >>
BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) -
Baton Rouge Police officers are searching for am man wanted for armed robbery.
The armed robbery happened on December 19, 2013 just after 9 p.m. in the 600 block of W. Roosevelt St.
Police say 33-year-old Jacoby Queen knocked on the front door of a residence and asked to use the restroom. Reports say Queen was allowed inside after being recognized by one of the individuals within the residence.
Once inside, police say Queen produced a handgun and demanded money. One of the individuals ran out of the front door, pushing a second person to the ground as he continued to run away.
Queen was able to obtain an undisclosed amount of money from the individual who remained inside the residence. Queen and the second person then fled the area.
No injuries were reported.
