BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - A staple of Baton Rouge breakfast could be looking to change locations, which would mean good news for anyone who's ever had to fight for a parking space.
Louie's cafe, located just outside the north gates of LSU purchased the old Wendy's up the street.
Louie's Cafe was established near the Louisiana State University campus in 1941. The popular 24-hour diner has been at that location since 1986.
A move to the new location would mean a larger restaurant, and more importantly, more parking spaces.
Anyone who's been to the cafe will notice that right now there are only four spaces four Louie's, the surrounding lots belong to other businesses.
All breakfast, lunch, dinner and dessert items are available 24/7 except for the homemade biscuits. Louie's buttermilk biscuits are served only 6-11 am, so customers have to get here early to get their biscuit fix.
There is no word as to when the move will happen.
