All Black Affair Business Gala

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - One of WAFB's news anchors will be speaking at a local business gala this weekend for entrepreneurs and business owners.

The All Black Affair Business Gala will be held Friday, March 21, 2014 at 8PM. The event will be held at the Old Governor's Mansion located at 502 North Blvd., Baton Rouge, Louisiana 70802.

Mrs. Donna Britt, Advisory Board Member for Salvation Army and Anchor of WAFB 9 News will be speaking at the event.

The keynote address with be given by Mr. John Matthews, Executive Director for Louisiana Economic Development and  Ms. Kelly Schulz, Vice President of Communications and Marketing for New Orleans Conventions and Visitors Bureau, will be the  highlight speaker.

The gala planning committee will be honoring Mr. Richard Ieyoub, Former State of Louisiana Attorney General, for his contributions in Louisiana.

Guests attending the event will hear sounds by Christien Bold and The Jazz Quartet, and songs by Ms. Gione Steib.

Executive Chef Mr. David Ludlow will be catering the event.  The All Black Affair Business Gala will celebrate business in Louisiana and provide networking for all business owners to enhance their business in Baton Rouge, New Orleans and Lafayette. All future entrepreneurs should come with a quest to converse with business owners about internships with their companies.

Tickets are $100. Attire for the event is All Black Formal Dress with minimal whites and silvers tones.  A percentage of our proceeds will be donated to the Salvation Army.
