Baton Rouge, Acadiana orchestras get ready for performance

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - More than two-hundred musicians will take the stage this weekend when the Baton Rouge and Acadiana Symphony Orchestras come together.

The symphony choruses will join the orchestras when they perform Mahler's 'Symphony Number Two.' The groups will be led by Baton Rouge Conductor Timothy Muffitt and the Acadiana music director.

The two groups will appear at the Baton Rouge River Center Theatre  March 13 and and again at the Heymann Performing Arts Center in Lafayette on March 15.
