LSU's O'Bryant III, Mickey and Martin receive SEC honors

BIRMINGHAM, AL (WAFB) -

LSU forward Johnny O'Bryant III has been named to the first team All-SEC basketball squad.

The Southeastern Conference unveiled its men's basketball coaches' postseason awards Tuesday to cap off another exciting season of SEC basketball.

O'Bryant III led LSU in scoring and rebounding with his career best scoring average of 15.6 points per game and 7.9 rebounds a game.

Jordan Mickey, a freshman from Dallas, TX, was named to the All-SEC second team, the All-SEC freshman team and the SEC all-defensive team. He averaged 13.0 points per game and 7.6 rebounds with a league leading 96 blocks during the year.

Former Madison Prep Academy star Jarell Martin joined Mickey on the All-SEC freshman team. Martin averaged 10.2 points per game.
