Bearcats top seed in AAC Tournament

The UC basketball team will be the top seed in next week'sAmerican Athletic Conference Tournament.

The Bearcats and Louisville finished tied atop the AACstandings, but after a series of tie-breaking scenarios couldn't separate thetwo teams, UC won a conference seed coin flip to secure the top seed.

UC will play its first round game next Thursday night inMemphis.  It's their first conference championship in basketball since2004.
