A tip of a suspicious vehicle possibly smuggling narcotics in the desert led Tucson Border Patrol agents to 1,900 pounds of marijuana in a stolen SUV from Glendale.
U.S. Customs and Border Protection said agents found an abandoned GMC Yukon in a desert wash about 11:30 a.m. Thursday.
The vehicle had 91 bundles of pot estimated to be worth about $969,000.
No suspects were located.
Record checks on the vehicle showed it was reported stolen out of Glendale.
CBP said if you see suspicious activity, call the Border Patrol at 1-877-872-7435.
