PEORIA, AZ (CBS5) -

Peoria police are looking for two men who robbed a Peoria restaurant at gunpoint Monday night.

Officers released surveillance images of the pair in hopes of generating fresh leads.

The suspects entered Herrera's at 10798 N. 75th Ave. just before 8:30 p.m. pretending to be customers.

Once the clerk went to take their order, one of the suspects produced a black handgun and demanded money from the register.

When the suspects received the money, they fled heading north.

A Hispanic man in his 20s was seen sitting in an early 2000 model white minivan near the area and may be connected to the suspects, officers said.

The armed suspect is described as Hispanic and about 16 years old. He is 5'5" tall with short shaved hair. He was last seen wearing blue gauge earrings, a black hooded sweatshirt, blue basketball shorts with a white stripe on the side, white socks and black shoes.

The second suspect is also Hispanic, about 16 years old. He, too, is 5'5" tall with a thin build. He was last seen wearing a black long-sleeved T-shirt, with another shirt covering his face, dark pants and black shoes with white tips. He was carrying a black duffle bag.

People with any information about the suspects or the crime are asked to call the Peoria Police Department's tip line at 623-773-7045. Residents can also contact Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS.
