BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) -

LSU begins a very busy week of baseball tonight at 6:30 p.m. against Sacred Heart.

LSU issued a statement this afternoon concerning parking and the recent rainfall:

The grass parking east of Nicholson Drive (Old Front Nine Lot) will be unavailable for tonight's baseball game versus Sacred Heart.

Fans should use paved lots east of Nicholson Drive (Lots 401, 402, 403, or Touchdown Village).

Grass lots west of Nicholson Drive (Hayfield and Golf Course lots) will be available, but please park with caution in these areas.  It will be difficult to park in select areas within these lots due to heavy saturation.

The Tigers will play five games in the next five days.

Tuesday's wintry weather caused the postponement of the LSU - Northwestern game. The game has been re-scheduled for a 3 p.m. first pitch on Thursday at Brown-Stroud Field in Natchitoches.

LSU comes back home to host a weekend series against Purdue at Alex Box Stadium.

First pitch Friday is at 7:00 p.m., with Saturday's game starting at 6:30 p.m. and the series finale beginning at 1:00 p.m.

The Tigers dropped to number 4 in this week's Collegiate Baseball Top 30 and number 9 in Baseball America Top 25 Poll and are looking to bounce back after going 2-2 last week.
