Concrete canopies removed from Dexter Avenue building

MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) -

Crews started removing concrete canopies from the old Belk Building on Dexter Avenue Friday.

The lower section of Dexter Avenue was closed during the day Friday while crews removed the 30,000-pound canopies. The canopies were taken to a landfill

Foshee Management is transforming this area in to the Market District.
