Man accused of using unauthorized credit card info. to buy thousands of dollars worth of furniture

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) -

Crime Stoppers is asking for help in finding a man accused using credit card information to purchase thousands of dollars worth of furniture at two different locations.

The Baton Rouge Police Department said Elvin Webb, 29, is wanted on two counts of felony theft and two counts of unauthorized use of an access card.

According to investigators, he used credit card account information without authorization on February 11 at a Baton Rouge furniture store to purchase several thousand dollars worth of furniture.

Detectives said he used the same card information the next day at a different Baton Rouge furniture store to buy another several thousand dollars worth of furniture.

Webb is 5'10" and weighs about 160 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 344-7867 or text CS225 and a message to 274637.
