BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - Two Baton Rouge teenagers were arrested Tuesday on charges of armed robbery, attempted aggravated rape and second degree kidnapping.
The affidavits of probable cause states that 19-year-old Jacorey Demond James and 17-year-old Karzzerick Murray is accused of robbing a woman of $820.
The victim told police that she went to the house in the 1300 block of N. 29th Street when the robbery happened. Reports say the teens held the woman against her will by pointing a black handgun at her face while trying to force her to perform oral sex on them.
The victim also reported that she began to cry and one of the teens told the other to get her out of the house because of "how bad she was freaking out."
Once out of the house, the woman called the Baton Rouge Police Department.
BRPD Officers surrounded the house to find James trying to escape out of the back door. He was taken into custody. During a search of the house, the black handgun was found under a bed and 7.2 grams of marijuana was found in a back room.
Police learned the second teen, Karzzerick Murray, lived about eight blocks away, but found him at 28th and North Street at a bus stop. He was arrested and taken to the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison.
Murray is being held on a $150,000 bond, James is being held on a $160,500 bond.
