There has been little to no progress made in contract talks between the New Orleans Saints and Jimmy Graham.
The issue? Graham believes he should be paid as a wide receiver, while the Saints maintain that he should be paid as a tight end.
In 2013, Graham caught 86 passes for 1,215 yards and added 16 touchdowns.
In his four years with the Saints, the tight end/wide receiver has totaled 301 catches for 3,863 yards and 41 touchdowns.
The Saints are expected to put the franchise tag on Graham before he becomes a free agent at the end of March.
Ian Rapoport of NFL.com reports if that happens, expect Graham to file an immediate grievance to be tagged as a wide receiver.
