Names released in Highway 231 crash south of Montgomery

MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) -

Names have now being released in the deadly single-vehicle accident that occurred on U.S. 231, in south Montgomery County last night.

Officials say a passenger, 17-year-old Cheyenne Moore of Montgomery, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver, 20-year-old Danielle Tyrrel of Crystal River Florida and two other passengers 23-year-old Alexis Houck and 19-year-old Jordan Garcia, were also injured and transported to a local hospital.

Alabama State Troopers say the accident, occurred around 9:50 p.m. on U.S. 231 near Trotman Road, close to the Scottish Inn. The 2010 Hyundai Genesis occupied by the victims left the roadway and overturned several times. Seatbelts were not in use, and all were ejected from the vehicle.

No other information is available at this time as the investigation continues.
