LORANGER, LA (WAFB) -

An attempt to make a few extra bucks on Valentine's Day resulted in one man's arrest. That's because he was wanted by law enforcement for fraud charges.

The case was launched after the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff's office got a complaint about a "suspicious person" selling flowers. The caller told deputies that the man was wearing a dark coat and he was attempting to sell flowers at the intersection of Milkplant Road and Louisiana Hwy. 40.

When deputies went to the area, they located Joshua Rugg Robinson, 32, of Bogalusa. They ran his information and found out that he was wanted by the Louisiana State Police.

Robinson was arrested and booked into the parish prison.
