BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) -

A shooting involving Livingston Parish Sheriff's deputies and a car chase, led to the arrest of a wanted suspect in Denham Springs on Sunday.

Around 9:30 A.M., Deputies were called to Robbie Lee Drive for a domestic battery call. Once there, investigators realized the suspect, 20-year-old Jessie Mouille, had a warrant out for his arrest.

Authorities say that is when Mouille resisted and fled the scene in a car.

According to the Sheriff's Office, the suspect attempted to run down deputies and ram units that were set up in the area, causing the deputies to open fire on Mouille.

The suspect then led officials on a chase which ended at a gas station a few miles away.  Mouille was arrested and taken to the hospital to be treated for non life threatening injuries.

No deputies hurt.
