BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) -

The Louisianan Grammy Award nominees are having a concert, hosted by Lt. Gov. Jay Dardenne and the state's tourism office.

The event is in celebration of this year's local nominees, and will be held on Saturday night, January 11th at 7:00 p.m.

"We may have to push it back a little bit, depending on when the game ends," said Lt. Gov. Dardenne, "but it'll be Saturday night at Baton Rouge Magnet High School. [It is] Open to the public and a great chance; a great opportunity to hear three Louisiana Grammy nominees."

Terrence Simien and Zachary Richard will be performing, too, along with Hot 8.  Lt. Gov. Dardenne is calling the concert "Only in Louisiana".
