DONALDSONVILLE, LA (WAFB) -

Authorities said a fourth arrest has been made in connection with allegations of prostitution and human trafficking of a child.

The Ascension Parish Sheriff's Office reported Gregory Hardin, 28, of Addis, was arrested Friday. He faces charges of criminal conspiracy to commit soliciting to prostitutes, criminal conspiracy to commit prostitution with persons under the age of 18 and trafficking of children for sexual purposes. His bond has not been set.

His arrest stemmed from an investigation that resulted in the arrests of three others in December. Detectives said the investigation centered on a woman suspected of prostituting a 14-year-old girl out of her home for drugs and money.

Investigators believe Hardin conspired with Lakeisha Marshall, 28, of Donaldsonville, to prostitute the teen. Trenace Tyler, 19, and Wendell Walker, 46, both of Donaldsonville also, were arrested with Marshall on Dec. 17, 2013.

Marshall was booked on charges of prostitution of persons under the age of 18, soliciting for prostitutes, and trafficking of children for sexual purposes.

Tyler was booked on charges of criminal conspiracy to commit prostitution of persons under the age of 18, criminal conspiracy to commit soliciting for prostitutes, and trafficking of children for sexual purposes.

Walker was booked on charges of criminal conspiracy to commit prostitution of persons under the age of 18, criminal conspiracy to commit soliciting for prostitutes, and trafficking of children for sexual purposes.

The Louisiana Department of Children and Family Services removed the 14-year-old from Marshall's home and placed her in state custody as detectives with the sheriff's office investigated the allegations.

During the course of the investigation, detectives said they learned Marshall was not only prostituting the girl out of her home, but would also send her out of town with Tyler and Walker, who allegedly prostituted her to customers in New Orleans and other areas of south Louisiana.
