PRAIRIEVILLE, LA (WAFB) - Ascension Parish Sheriff's Office Major Kevin Hanna reports multiple arrests following an investigation into illegal narcotics being sold out of a Prairieville home.
On December 5, 2013, the Sheriff's Office Narcotics Division received information that 31-year-old Chrystal Carter was selling illegal narcotics from her home in the 17000 block of Hwy 929, Prairieville.
On January 3, 2014, the Sheriff's Office Narcotics Division executed a search warrant at Carter's home where detectives located and seized a quantity of Methamphetamine, heroin, synthetic cannabis, and legend drugs. During the search Carter was located and taken into custody along with Ahren Seaton, Cabot Random Black, and Laura Aucoin.
Chrystal Carter, 31, of Prairieville was charged with possession of Methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and two counts possession of a legend drug. On January 5, 2014 Carter posted a $40,342.50 bond that was set by Judge Leblanc.
Laura Aucoin, 27, of Geismar, was charged with possession of Heroin and possession of drug paraphernalia. On January 7, 2014 she posted a $35,342.50 bond that was set by Judge Leblanc.
Cabot Random Black, 32, of Gonzales, was charged with possession of Heroin, possession of synthetic cannabinoids, and possession of drug paraphernalia. His bond has been set by Judge LeBlanc at $36,085.
Ahren Seaton, 36, of Gonzales, was charged with possession of Methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. His bond has been set by Judge LeBlanc at $40,342.50.
Both, Black and Seaton, have not yet posted bond and remain incarcerated at the Ascension Parish jail.
