BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - Life in Louisiana must go on despite the hard freeze and that included at least some kids going to school.
"It's not good," said Brandon Watts, a student and bus rider. "I don't want to wait here. My feet are cold."
Kids like him in East Baton Rouge Parish still had to wait for the bus outside Tuesday morning, just two hours later.
Several schools across south Louisiana were closed because of the weather.
School officials in Hammond said they closed two campuses because of power issues.
