Armed robbery suspect caught on camera

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - Authorities have released more information on an armed robbery that police were investigating at a local restaurant.

It happened Saturday afternoon in the Sherwood Forest area at around 2:00 p.m.  Detectives say a man robbed the Subway at Sherwood and Old Hammond.

According to Baton Rouge Police officials, the suspect walked in with a handgun and grabbed an undisclosed amount of money before leaving the scene on foot.

Police officials describe the suspect as being an 18-25 year-old light skinned black male, approximately 160 pounds. He has curly black hair, a goatee, and he was wearing black pants, a white T-shirt under an open black button shirt, and a black cap with white shoes.

The identity of the suspect is still unknown; however, authorities were able to provide images him.
