New Orleans Police have released a sketch for a person of interest in the deadly armored truck robbery that happened December 18th just before 11 a.m.

According to the New Orleans Police, an armored truck guard who was unloading money at a bank in New Orleans was fatally shot when three men approached him.

Reports say the robbers took the money and drove off. Investigators say the victim, 45-year-old Hector Trochez of Kenner, LA, was able to fire shots at his assailant has he tried to protect himself and his partner.

NOPD says the suspects abandoned the first vehicle they were in at Adam and Green Streets and fled in a gray Hyundai with a partial plate of 141654.

The three suspects were described as three black males 5'7" to 5'9" wearing dark jackets and hoodies. One of the suspects possibly had a dread lock hair style.

Police say the person of interest is described as an African-American male, approximately 21-25 years of age with a brown complexion. He has an unshaven face with acne scars or pit marks and unkempt dead locks that fall one inch below his shoulders. He was last seen wearing a black jacket.
