4-vehicle crash on New Year's Eve leaves 1 woman dead

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - A 51-year-old woman died after a four-vehicle crash on New Year's Eve.

According to Louisiana State Police, Patricia Titus of Baton Rouge was killed in a crash on Plank Road in Baton Rouge around 10:30 p.m.

Troopers said the 2012 Toyota Camry that Titus was driving was hit by a 2004 GMC Yukon driven by Christopher Price, 20, of Zachary. Investigators reported they have not determined what caused the collision.

They added a 2010 Honda CRV driven by Cleola Muse, 71, of Baton Rouge, and a 2003 Toyota Camry driven by Charmessia Venson, 24, of Baton Rouge, were then involved in the crash.

LSP said Price, Muse and Venson were taken to area hospitals with moderate to severe injuries.

Investigators are working to determine whether impairment is a factor in the crash. The crash remains under investigation.
