GONZALES, LA (WAFB) - Investigators said three people accused of cooking meth are in jail after the search of a home Friday.
The Ascension Parish Sheriff's Office reported Scott Roussel, 28, Kandi Pierre, 18, and Seth Finley, 28, all of Gonzales, were booked on creation of a meth lab and other charges. Deputies said Roussel and Pierre lived at the home where the meth lab was found.
Lt. Col. Bobby Webre with APSO said narcotics detectives received information Roussel was manufacturing meth, so they began investigating the claims and eventually obtained a search warrant.
He added all three suspects were found in the home and arrested. They were all booked on the following charges:
Creation of a clandestine lab
Possession of marijuana
Possession of drug paraphernalia
Possession of schedule IV CDS
Possession of a legend drug
Bond was set at $108,085 for each suspect. As of Tuesday morning, they all remained behind bars.
The investigation is ongoing.
