BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - Authorities said an argument between a man and a woman resulted in the man getting stabbed in the neck and other parts of the body.

The East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff's Office said Tiara Bush, 23, of Baton Rouge, was arrested Saturday night. Deputies said they responded to reports of a 34-year-old man suffering multiple stab wounds.

The incident happened at an apartment complex on Skysail Avenue around 10:15 p.m. The victim was taken to the hospital in serious condition.

According to the probable cause report, the man and woman were in the apartment and started to argue. It states at some point during the argument the victim was stabbed with an unknown object.

The victim reportedly was able to get out of the apartment and walked around the area until he found someone to help him.

Investigators said responding deputies followed a blood trail from where first responders found the victim to the apartment around the corner where the attack took place. They added a large amount of blood was found on the porch outside the apartment.

Bush was booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison on a charge of attempted second-degree murder. Her bond is set at $60,000.
