Discussions continue over Baton Rouge 'blue laws'

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - The debate over restrictions on alcohol sales in Baton Rouge continues.

The current parish law does not allow restaurants to sell liquor until 11 a.m. on Sundays, while stores can start selling it at 6 a.m.

Councilman John Delgado wants to change the ordinance to give restaurants the same sales opportunities, despite concerns from some people that the parish's blue laws are lax enough already.
