GONZALES, LA (WAFB) - One Louisiana sheriff said his department will continue to target those who sell alcohol to minors.
The Ascension Parish Sheriff's Office reported two convenience store clerks accused of underage alcohol sales were arrested Tuesday night.
Danny Nguyen, 18, and Christopher Butler, 27, both of Baton Rouge, were each issued summons for unlawful sale to persons under 21.
They both work at convenience stores in Gonzales.
Major Kevin Hanna with APSO said juvenile detectives with the sheriff's office, agents with Louisiana Alcohol and Tobacco Control and a 17-year-old went around to stores and tried to buy alcohol.
