BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - A man accused of driving drunk and rear-ending a police car on an interstate Sunday was still behind bars as of Wednesday morning.
The Baton Rouge Police Department said Paul Miller, 49, of Baton Rouge, took off after the crash.
"An officer is stopped behind a stalled vehicle northbound I-110 when he gets plowed from behind by another vehicle," said Cpl. Don Coppola with BRPD.
Officers caught up with Miller a few exits later and he now faces third offense DWI.
A DWI arrest could mean the suspension of someone's license, while a third or fourth DWI offense is a felony that might result in jail time.
