Man being held on $125,000 bond for alleged armed robbery

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - A 20-year-old man is being held in EBR parish prison on a $125,000 bond for allegedly robbing someone at gunpoint.

The incident happened at roughly 11:30 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 1. The victim was walking down Denham Street, located in the 70805 zip code, when he was approached by a man brandishing a handgun.

"[The suspect] was armed with a black handgun and wearing a purple LSU hoodie with a tiger head on it," notes the arrest report. "[The suspect] demanded whatever was on the person of the victim at the time of contact. The victim dropped a cell phone and then ran back home."

The victim claims that the suspect fired the gun once while the victim was running. The victim was not injured.

Officers identified Keydrick Moses of Baton Rouge as a possible suspect. They executed a search at his home on Dutton Ave. They located a purple LSU hoodie with a tiger head inside the home.

When questioned, Moses denied committing the robbery, but did admit to being in the area at the time the crime happened.

Moses was arrested and charged with Armed Robbery. He was booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison.
