BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - A long line of anxious shoppers that wraps around the corner of Best Buy can only mean Black Friday sales are in full swing.
However, this line formed Thursday and like the trend of many stores, Best Buy is marking down prices on electronics the day before Black Friday and customers don't mind the wait.
"It's worth it; they are going to be like really cheap," said one shopper. "There is this 32-inch I think it is going to be $179."
A 32-inch television must sound great for shoppers to cuddle in 30-degree weather. A group of guys was at the front of the line, because they got there at 2:30 a.m.
Abner Marquez was out with his father early Thursday morning. He said he wanted to make sure to get a good spot in line because he remembers what happened last year.
"We came out really late," Marquez said. "We ended up in the back of Best Buy and at least 200 people in front of us and waited a whole two hours just to get inside."
