LONGVIEW, TX (KLTV) -

Authorities have charged Kyron Rayshawn Templeton with a stabbing attack at a Longview hospital that left a nurse dead.

Templeton, 22, of Longview, is charged with murder and four counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. He is being held on $2.6 million bond.

Gail Sandidge, a nurse, died in the attack at the Ambulatory Surgical Center at Good Shepherd Medical Center and three other are hospitalized, one in critical condition. One victim was released from the hospital on Tuesday afternoon. The stabbings happened just before 7 a.m. on Tuesday.

Templeton was charged with theft, a Class B misdemeanor, in January 2011.

Templeton has opted not to take a court-appointed attorney. Instead, he will attempt to hire one himself.
