Fatal crash family needs help from the community

CENTRAL, LA (WAFB) -

A violent car crash that killed 3 people has left a family in Central in mourning. Police said the head on collision on Joor Rd. in Zachary happened before noon Thursday. Tara Hicks, her fiancé Daniel Jones, and friend Latosha Head all died after the collision.  Hick's brother Greg Nudera said when he heard the news, every emotion surged through his body.

"I felt emptiness, angry, but then I thought about my two nephews she left behind. All I could think about was getting to them," said Nudera.

In fact, the youngest child was in the back seat when the crash happened. Luckily he had some bumps and bruises.

"He had angels wings wrapped around him, that's the only way you can explain it," said Nudera.

"It's just sad he is not going to remember his mom or his daddy. Both of them taken from him in a blink of an eye," he continued.

Now the Nudera family needs your help. To give Tara Hicks a proper burial they are asking the community for donations. If you would like to give please contact them at mnudera@gmail.com
