NEW YORK CITY (RNN) – In the Big Apple, a city full of celebrities, you never know who is lurking behind you, in this case waiting to ruin or improve your wedding photos.

New York City photographer Sascha Reinking photographed a German couple, Verena and Michael, for their wedding photo album during their recent trip to the United States.

Upon editing them, he noticed something that could either be interpreted as hilarious or rude.

"The funny thing about this was that I didn't even notice it until I started to edit the images earlier tonight," Reinking said on his photography blog.

"I scanned through the set and his face looked familiar," he wrote. "Is that Zach Braff?"

Reinking tweeted the actor to confirm if it was him in the picture - with a wide grin and a cup of Starbucks to boot.

"@zachbraff Sir, I think you photobombed my newlywed couple the other day in New York. :) Well played...," Reinking tweeted Nov. 21.

Braff, most famous for his starring roles in the television show Scrubs and his film Garden State, not only claimed the photobomb, but triumphed in its going viral.

"This is one of my best photobombs ever," Braff wrote, tweeting the photo to his more than 1 million followers.

Reinking did not say whether the couple noticed or how they feel about an American actor photobombing their wedding shoot, but writes on his blog that "Today, I felt the love."

"Who knew that this shot would get around so much," he wrote. "Well…here it is. Verena, Michael and Mr. Zach Braff, photobombing the shoot. :) Enjoy."

Braff is also pleased, tweeting Friday that, "Today I won the internets. I feel like Leo on the bow of that big boat. Never finished the movie, but I'm sure it ended well."
