Prosecutors seeking the death penalty against Derrick Todd Lee for the murder of Charlotte Murray Pace turned their attention to another of Lee's alleged victims, seeking to prove beyond a reasonable shadow of a doubt that Lee is the south Louisiana serial killer.

In doing so the Lee's defense entered their first peice of evidence tried to shed doubt in the prosecution's claims. Entered in as evidence was the arrest warrrant of a Baton Rouge's other suspected serial killer, Sean Vincent Gillis, to illustrate the proximity of Gillis' house to Lee's alleged victim Gina Wilson Green.

Gina Green was found strangled to death September 24, 2001. Her rape and murder is connected to Lee by DNA.
