Emergency meeting planned for Sorrento

Tomorrow morning, the polls will open and Port Allen voters will decide whether or not to keep Mayor Deedy Slaughter in office.  40 percent of registered voters cast their ballots early.  WAFB's Cheryl Mercedes caught up with some residents today and will have more tonight on 9News at 5.

An emergency meeting has been scheduled for tomorrow morning in the town of Sorrento.  A loss of insurance coverage for the police department has leaders looking elsewhere for law enforcement.  WAFB's Andrew Nomura will have a live report tonight on 9News at 6.
