BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - The wish of a dying boy to feed the hungry in Baton Rouge continues to live on even after his death.
Trevor Sims, founder of Trevor's Wish, died of cancer but before his passing, he got to see his wish come true.
Now his wish has inspired many, especially the students at Central High School.
On Wednesday, November 13th, the student council at Central High presented a check of more than $17,000 to the Baton Rouge Food Bank. The students raised the money in a matter of months all by themselves. They sold T-Shirts and got local businesses involved.
