LIVINGSTON PARISH, LA (WAFB) - Narcotics detectives said months of undercover work has resulted in the arrest of a dozen people facing drug charges.
The Livingston Parish Sheriff's Office said it started executing arrest warrants on November 8 for several people accused of selling drugs. Deputies said undercover narcotics agents purchased prescription meds and other illegal drugs from suspected street level dealers.
Below is a list of those arrested. They were all booked into the Livingston Parish Detention Center. Pictures of the suspects are included in the slideshow to the left (website only). Denise Murphy, 46, of Springfield, is charged with criminal conspiracy to distribution of hydrocodone.
Kimarie Bourgeois, 36, of Walker, is charged with distribution of vyvanse.
Darren Williamson, 21, of Walker, is charged with distribution of marijuana and illegal distribution of CDS in presence of a juvenile.
Cody Harps, 27, of Denham Springs, is charged with principal to distribution of methamphetamine and resisting an officer. Note: No image was available.
Amanda Chandler, 23, of Denham Springs, is charged with distribution of methamphetamine.
Nancy Courtney, 49, of Springfield, faces the following charges:
Distribution of oxycodone
Distribution of clonazepam (2 counts)
Distribution of morphine
Distribution of diazepam
Deputies said she was released after posting a $70,000 bond.
Courtney Shields, 24, of Springfield is charged with distribution of morphine.
Connie Hoover, 50, of Springfield is charged with distribution of oxycodone and adderall (3 counts). She is currently in the Richland Parish Jail. A hold has been placed on her for LPSO.
Terry Hoover, 53, of Springfield, is charged with principal to distribution of oxycodone and adderall (3 counts).
Christine Hodges, 40, of Maurepas, is charged with principal to distribution of adderall.
Casey Gayle, 45, of Livingston, is charged with distribution of oxycodone.
Randall Severio, 21, of Walker, faces the following charges:
Distribution of meth (2 counts)
Possession of meth
Possession of drug paraphernalia
"This team works tirelessly to keep illegal drugs off the streets – and out of the hands of our children," Sheriff Jason Ard said in a written release. My Narcotics Team is taking a proactive approach in dealing with drugs and working to identify dealers. Thanks to this team, Livingston Parish is a safer place."
Investigators said more arrests are expected.
