Livingston Police Department launching coat drive

LIVINGSTON, LA (WAFB) - With cold weather on the way, the Livingston Police Department has launched a children's coat drive.

The department has drop-offs at City Hall and at the local schools in the town of Livingston.

Chief Dufrene says this is a way for them to give back and show the kids that all police are always there to help.

They're also collecting coats for adults. They will all go to families in need in Livingston Parish.
