BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - The National Weather Service has issued a freeze warning for Wednesday morning from 2 a.m. until 9 a.m. This freeze warning affects areas along and north of I-12.
Forecasters said temperatures will drop below freezing after 3 a.m. and will remain below freezing until after sunrise.
The freeze could last anywhere from three to six hours, with longer durations across southwest Mississippi.
This would be a good time to take precautions with pets and plants that could be harmed by the cold temperatures.
