BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - Two Denham Springs women were arrested after they allegedly sold heroin to an undercover deputy in a parking lot of a Baton Rouge business.
According to the police report, investigators saw the two women, who are sisters, sitting in the parking lot of the business on O'Neal Lane. The investigators witnessed the women injecting themselves with syringes.
An undercover deputy approached the vehicle and asked the women about buying some heroin. According to the report, the women told the deputy they could get it for him at a nearby location for $30.
The deputy gave them the money and they left the parking lot. They came back a few minutes later and handed him a plastic baggie containing .2 grams of heroin.
After the deputy left the car, undercover agents approached the car and took the women into custody. The officers also found two used syringes and a spoon with burn marks in the car.
The women, 24-year-old Chelsea Wright and 30-year-old Candace Wright, were charged with distribution of schedule I drug (heroin) and possession of drug paraphernalia.
