BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - A 17-year-old is being held on a $75,000 bond after he was identified as a participant in an armed robbery. Officials tell us three juveniles were additionally arrested in connection to the case.
According to the Baton Rouge Police Department, the incident occurred on Friday, Nov. 8. The victim called police at roughly 4:40 p.m. from a location on Casper Street.
The victim told officers that four juveniles approached him and attempted to take his cell phone from him. One of the juveniles pulled out a gun and threatened the victim.
Jarion Micheal Randolph, 17, was identified as one of the four involved in the robbery. He was booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison for Armed Robbery.
The three additional suspects were booked into the Juvenile Detention Center. Officials could not provide their ages.
