MARANA, AZ (CBS5) -

A search warrant served on a Marana home Friday in connection with a burglary case led authorities to the discovery of 14 marijuana plants.

Michael White, 29, and Dawn Hay, 40, were booked into the Pima County Jail on charges of burglary, theft, criminal trespass and possession of stolen property.

The warrant stemmed from a home burglary on Oct. 22 in the 32000 block of E. Annadale Road in the Missile Base area of Pinal County.

Pinal County sheriff's detectives worked with the victim and set up surveillance on a possible suspect.

Detectives said they developed probable cause and were able to obtain a search warrant for the home.

On Oct. 29, detectives served the search warrant on the home in the 10700 block of Grier Road in Marana.

Authorities said they recovered two gas generators and other property belonging to the victim.

Detectives located several marijuana plants and turned them over to the Marana Police Department. Some were more than six feet tall.
