CATS board listens to proposals from prospective managerial firms

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - The proposals are out there and now, the Capital Area Transit System must decide which firm will manage it.

MV Transit and Reliant Transportation both gave their proposals to the CATS board Wednesday morning. Both firms have several years of experience.

"We work for systems of all sizes in terms of what it takes to making certain changes, to ask the public what needs to be done," said Tim Reynolds with Reliant Transportation.

Officials will make a decision in the coming weeks.
