BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) -

Baton Rouge Police responded to a break-in at a local high school Saturday night that involved some vandalism.

Fire crews were called to Istrouma High School just before 7:00 p.m. when the fire alarms started going off. However, a quick sweep of the building revealed that there was no fire. The BRPD was called to investigate the incident.

Authorities say it appears someone broke into the school, vandalizing some lockers and disabling the schools motion sensors.

Officials have not yet reported if there are any suspects. If you have information on this incident, you may call Crime Stoppers at 225-344-STOP.
