BATON ROUGE, LA (AP) - A convicted felon has been arrested in Baton Rouge on a charge he robbed a 91-year-old man at gunpoint and knocked him onto the ground, breaking his ribs.
According to the Associated Press, 23-year-old Raynardo Mason, of Baton Rouge, was booked into jail Thursday on one count of armed robbery.
An arrest warrant says Mason allegedly followed the elderly man home from a gas station on Oct. 23 and accosted him in his garage, where he pointed a handgun at the man and demanded his wallet. The warrant says Mason kicked the man onto the ground after he complied with the demand.
Court documents show Mason previously had been convicted of cruelty to juveniles and aggravated criminal damage to property.
