INGREDIENTS
1 lb shrimp (peeled, deveined and butterflied)
1/4 cup chopped garlic
crushed red pepper (to taste)
1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
1/4 cup dry basil
touch of parsley
1 lb angel hair pasta (cooked)
1 quart marinara sauce
PROCEDURE
- Saute garlic in olive oil for about a minute (at medium heat) until it lightly browns.
- Add basil, crushed red pepper and shrimp.
- Cook approximately 4 or 5 minutes.
- When shrimp is done, add marinara sauce.
- Toss in cooked pasta. Mix together and serve. You might want to top dish with romano cheese.
