BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) -

Mayor Kip Holden said trick-or-treating in East Baton Rouge Parish will remain as scheduled.

Stormy weather is forecast during the parish's official trick-or-treat hours of 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., so he is urging everyone to exercise caution.

"The weather conditions are beyond our control, but we are urging trick-or-treaters to wear light-colored or reflective clothing if they venture out this evening so they can be easily seen," Holden said.

He also urged drivers to slow down and be on the lookout for kids trick-or-treating while traveling through neighborhoods.
