Third man arrested in connection with Thibodaux murder

THIBODAUX, LA (WAFB) - Thibodaux Police have arrested a third suspect in connection with the deaths of two men found shot in a car on Iris St.

Lynes Jones, 21, has been charged with accessory after the fact to second degree murder.

Jones was arrested Monday.  He is being held at the Lafourche Parish Detention Center on a $100,000 bond.

Two other men have been arrested in connection with the murders of Jordy Williams, 26, and Tre Scott, 19.

Alfred Starks, 19, was charged with two counts of second degree murder.  Brian Jones, 18, arrested and charged with two counts of accessory after the fact for allegedly helping Starks flee after the shooting.

Police say Williams and Scott were going sell drugs to Starks and Jones when the shootings happened.
